Everyone who comes into contact with children and families has a role to play ensuring children and young people are safe from abuse, neglect exploitation and harm. Southfields Academy is committed to safeguarding children and aims to create a culture of vigilance. All staff should make sure that any decisions made are in the best interests of the child.

Membership

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) set out the agreement between Aspire@Southfields (“Us”, “We”, “Our”) and You when You pay for a Membership with Us and/or use Our facilities. Aspire facilities include gym, swimming pool, sports halls, 3G artificial turf pitch, studios, outdoor courts, outdoor rock climbing wall, classrooms, and drama rooms plus other types of facilities as operated by Us. Facilities are generally owned by Southfields Academy and are managed by Us after school and during holidays on their behalf. There may be additional terms and rules which apply to a particular facility and You should familiarise yourself with these. You are advised to read these Terms and rules carefully.

Swimming Lessons

The following terms and conditions apply to all parents or guardians (“you”) of any child attending swimming lessons organised by Aspire@Southfields (“we” or “us”). Please ensure you have read and understand the following and please keep a copy for your records.

Facility Hire

The following terms and conditions apply to any hirer (“you”) booked by Aspire@Southfields (“we” or “us”). The hirer, his agents, employees, licensees and invitees, will be bound by these terms and conditions governing the use of all venues/facilities at Aspire@Southfields. Birthday Parties

The following apply to courses that are awarded by The Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK), the drowning prevention charity.

STA Policies

The following apply to courses that are awarded by The Swimming Teachers’ Association (STA), an international charity working towards the objective of preserving human life by the teaching of swimming, lifesaving and survival techniques.
